This year we have seen our client base grow. From students, collectors, customers overseas and trade with antique dealers this year has been busy all year round. What makes it all worth while is the feedback we receive. We trade face to face and online via Ebay. Here is some of the feedback given (please note we have blurred out customers personal information due to data protection):
What Have We Been Selling This Year?
We are known for our vintage board games and large selection of antique and vintage cameras. However 2022 has brought some doom and gloom. No sooner have we entered post Covid years and the cost of living is at an all time high. This has meant stock has been difficult to source at a reasonable price. We do like to have our customers in mind when looking at resale prices. This has meant we have had to look at an alternative direction. Having Gareth Norman Makes onboard has really helped. Please refer to my previous blog – Meet Gareth Norman Makes for more information. So here is what was our big sellers this year:
Keeping Up With Technology
Although we have a small shop within an Antiques Centre online shopping appears to be quite popular too. This means our lines of communication have widened too. We always aim to respond to customers within 24 hours and staff in the shop are on hand to assist. We have customers contacting us via eBay, our website, WhatsApp, text message, telephone, Instagram and Facebook. We like to post regular on social media and enjoy creating blogs for you to read. This year we tried the world of YouTube and tried to get some more videos out there. To our surprise we enjoyed making the videos and hope to create more next year. What Does 2023 Hold For Us?
We are excited to look to grow the business next year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and custom this year. As we go into 2023 the decision to diverse into another area of the antiques and vintage trade is taking shape. Keep your eye out for more details in the new year. The centre is open from Tuesday – Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.
